1996 calling

I never thought I’d see this again!

Net Cafe, a TV show in the 90’s, did an episode on music and the web with a really good interview of my old friend Dan Prothero, along with a cringe worthy interview of my brother Peter and me.

The clip of my brother and me starts 7 minutes in. Way back machine, indeed.

    Holy shit!

Just when I think I know you and have teased you enough (current FBook profile picture, for instance) you throw out these sorts of curve balls.

I am quite impressed, however, that this sort of show existed this early on.

You’ve hardly changes since then, by the way, and I’m sure you’re glad to know since you’ve got a big birthday coming up… the only difference I could see was that you sounded a bit more timid or “kinder”.

P.S. I hear there this new software called Real Audio Player that allows you to listen to music on the interwebs.

    You look so… the same!

And so that’s when the predictions for the future started (pretty spot-on, by the way)?

Dan’s comments/ideas hold up really well, even after the napster, itunes eras. The screens of his website are funny (I saw a blink tag!)
